Prominent CEO tells me,
“You allowed me to keep my job for another year!”
Associates whisper behind his back “I’ve never seen him whip out his check book so fast and give someone such a huge tip.”
I wasn’t worried when the producer told me weeks before the gig. “This CEO is very picky. You better not ask them to get up onstage with you. Do NOT ask him to join you in the fun because he won’t do it. So don’t even try. He is very conservative and he expects people to do what he says.”
Even when I showed them our DVD the agent told me, “You guys look like you’re having too much fun. Can you tone it down a little?”
I wasn’t nervous because I know our Professional Musicians are the best for any social or corporate situation.
I spoke to the agent in calming tones. I said, “Our entertainers and musicians are so good, we can GUARANTEE you will be satisfied.”
Then, sure enough, just like I predicted, by the end of the night the conservative CEO thanked our agency over and over again, joined the Line Dance that was snaking around the entire auditorium. The only reason he didn’t join the rest of the crowd onstage for the big encore was because he went to go get his checkbook to give us a nice big tip.
And when he handed us the check he said, . . . .
“I’ve been doing shows like this for 30 years and I have never had the entertainment do what I asked them to so well.”
How do we do that night after night? Show after show? Song after joyful song?
Well the fact of the matter is Music is truly the Universal Language.
It transcends all boundaries. Social, economic, cultural, racial, ethnic, religious boundaries disappear. It doesn’t matter where you are – a banquet hall, your living room with friends and family, a concert venue with thousands of people in attendance. It doesn’t matter what kind of live music entertainment or performers you are looking for; jazz bands, dueling pianos, country bands, blues bands, classic rock bands and on and on . . .
Music breaks through whatever inhibitions stand in your way of reaching your deepest senses of pleasure. Children dance. Grandparents fondly reminisce. And you? You will look good because we sound good.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could hire Live Musicians for your next fundraiser, church function, corporate party or neighborhood gathering and not only know that everyone will be going to have fun but GUARANTEE you will have fun?
That’s right. You read that correctly. We GUARANTEE you will have Fun or we Will Pay you $100!
Want to know how? Call Dan at 773-527-7417 Need a toll free #? 877-869-7215 and ask for your copy of “Customers Bill of Rights”. In it you will see exactly how you can hire one of our great, professional entertainers right now – with no risk to you on your part.
I feel compelled to emphasize to you how thrilled I was to have you in my home for my recent party. It is rarely easy to please fifty people at one time but you managed to do it!
I am so grateful to you for making our evening a truly memorable experience. The life and energy, not to mention fabulous music you brought into my living room was beyond compare and many weeks later, everyone is still talking about you and raving about how extraordinarily talented you are.

Everyone has Fun Singing Around the Piano
There has not yet been a day that has gone by in the last month where someone or other that had attended asks how to get a hold of you or when I was having my next party. We are ALL looking for excuses to “sing along” with Dan Our Favorite Piano Man!
Be prepared for a return performance in the Spring!
Fond regards,

Hello, I am Dan Gillogly, Owner of Glo Glee Music, Inc. based out of Chicago, IL. We do shows all over the United States and Canada. I’ve been making a living playing music, booking talent and producing live shows since I left St. Viator High School back in ’77.
The reason for my success is LISTENING. It makes me a better Musician, a better Talent Agent and it definitely makes me a better Businessman.
Ask about our Online Request Jar when you hire one of our groups to provide live music at your next event.
You see I realized a long time ago that I am not in the Music Business. I am in the Communication Business. No matter if I get together onstage with other musicians or I’m completely alone onstage, I realize it’s not about me. It’s not about the band. It’s not about the world class musicianship. Most importantly, it’s about the audience.
I am very fortunate to be doing what I do for a living. I could lock myself in the studio all day long and play piano with no one around I would be totally happy. There’s no doubt. But I know a little secret that only the best Musicians know.
Music is the most social of all the art forms. That was important. I’m going to repeat that so get it:
Music is the most social of all the art forms.
And when musicians play music in front of people, it magnifies. It becomes larger than us or the audience. It becomes larger than life itself. And that’s where the magic occurs.
Remember when I mentioned that Music is the Universal Language?
Why is that? When Good Quality Live Music is played well it is because it is played with emotion. And the whole range of emotions are available.
Do you know what musicians do when they feel like they need to have some fun and entertainment? They play music.
Do you know what piano players do when they feel blue? They sit down and play music at their piano.
Do you what you do when you need to Absolutely, Positively have fun – Guaranteed?

Let Live Music liven up your next product rollout, convention, trade show, corporate event, house party or supermarket opening. Let us pump those long boring speeches. Impress everyone in your neighborhood during your dinner party and hire a piano player, a jazz combo, a comedian, a juggler or a magician.
Live Music gets everybody perked up faster
than a short sermon on that first warm Sunday morning in Spring.
Now you too can have that same enlightening, uplifting feeling anywhere, anytime you want.
Now let me ask you a personal question. Do you remember your first kiss? I’ll bet you don’t have to think too hard to remember everything about that time of your life. The season. The color of their eyes. Your rapid heartbeats and your sweaty palms.
Now take a deep breath and let yourself go back and experience those wonderful feelings. Then ask yourself this question: What music were you listening to?
I remember my entire record collection. But my two favorites were Traffic’s “Low Spark of High Heeled Boys” with Steve Winwood on piano. The other record was The Allman Brothers’ “Eat A Peach” specifically, “Blue Sky”. It was the last studio record they made before Duane Allman died.
You know I feel like a kid riding my bike for the very first time all over again whenever I am playing music.
Let me give you those wonderful feelings all over again.
Call me and tell me when your next party will be, what time of day and how many people we’ll be performing for and I will get you 3 packages specifically designed for you to choose from. As a producer and event planner it is my job to find the right entertainment for your next corporate event or house party entertainment.

“Dan has been playing at a party that we give for attendees at our sales training classes for the last few years, and we think he is great. At the beginning of the party he plays quiet background music and then as the evening progresses, he ups the tempo and always manages to get a least half the group out on their feet dancing. Dan is also very good at getting the musicians or singers in the group to join in, either playing guitar or singing along with various popular tunes.”

I have seen it countless times. I walk into a room where I know no one and no one knows me. I am in someone’s home or at a room rented out for the night. I walk past a few of your guests, catch a few eyes. Maybe nod and smile. But they don’t know who I am. I’m not a member or a co-worker. Besides I’m dressed in brightly colored clothes or a shiny vest
“A Good Performer always dresses better than the audience.”
– James Brown
I sit down at the piano and when nobody’s noticing I just start filling in the conversation around the room. The guests start arriving. They are a little nervous. They have been invited to a party but they don’t know everyone at the party. In fact, none of their friends are even there yet. What do they do?
Do they go to . . . . . Get a drink? Do they go to the buffet table?
Oh wait. The food isn’t served yet. They could look around the house but that might be rude if they go into an area where no one is allowed. They could sit down at the TV. No, that would be would definitely be bad manners. They could go outside to the balcony or the porch if the weather is nice but then they may have to talk to people they don’t know yet.
As the host, you’re not being rude, you’re just a little overwhelmed with everything you need to tend to to get the party motoring. And hey, it’s not that your guests are shy. But they just want to feel comfortable. Blend in. Go somewhere where they can get the lay of the land for the first hour or so and get a feel for what’s going on. So where do they go?
To the piano player. He can make them feel comfortable. Give them a place to sit. There they’ll have someone to talk to who will crack a few jokes, listen to their stories. Pretty soon the rest of their friends show up. The piano player blends in with conversational music and allows the party to take shape.
After a few drinks, a bite to eat, maybe an introduction by the host or a speech by the CEO, everyone relaxes.
The piano player kicks it into gear as he hears the decibel level of the conversation crank up a few notches. Requests get made. The piano player knows them and prompts everyone to “join in”. Singing starts. Dancing begins. Laughter ensues.
Now picture a party where you have no live music entertainment. Maybe the new couple goes to the TV. Or if you really goofed up, you have music on a stereo playing. Of course it’s on a loop because you have tasks to attend to.
But the CDs are not going to adjust to the changing moods of your guests like a piano player will. Even if you hire a DJ, they’re not going to be able to move as quickly to adapt to the ever changing moods of your party the way a Piano Player or group of musicians will. The DJ will be restricted by the length of the recording. A qualified musician can stretch out a song if someone enters the dance floor near the end of a song.
If you want your event to change as the mood of the party changes, then you need someone to be aware of the changing moods of your guests. You’re not going to be able to stay up on how EVERYONE is feeling.
Your job is to greet the guests and connect with everyone in attendance.
Just as you would turn the food over to a professional caterer or let a bartender serve the drinks, so too would you leave the music to a professional, courteous musician with years of experience leading a party down the path to fun.
Let’s face it. When you throw a party you’re going to want the best, aren’t you? So unless you’re a professional gourmet chef, you’re not going to cook and serve the food yourself. You’re definitely not going to bake the mousse yourself. You’re going to call in an experienced professional.
You are going to want to hang out with your guests and have fun. So you’ll hire a caterer and let them watch the prime rib and time the soufflé. You’ll make sure you can get a qualified bartender so you won’t be trapped behind the bar all night. Make sure you get someone else who truly enjoys mixing the perfect martini.
The same goes for your Musician.
When you attend one of my shows, you will discover why so many people get excited and tell their friends about all the fun they had.
